【摘要】:1.1Thisguideoutlinesproceduresforthepetrographicexaminationofsamplesrepresentativeofmaterialsproposedforuseasaggregatesincementitiousmixturesorasrawmaterialsforuseinproductionofsuchaggregates.ThisguideisbasedonRef(1).1.2Thisguideoutlinestheextenttowhichpetrographictechniquesshouldbeused,theselectionofpropertiesthatshouldbelookedfor,andthemannerinwhichsuchtechniquesmaybeemployedintheexaminationofsamplesofaggregatesforconcrete.1.3TherockandmineralnamesgiveninDescriptiveNomenclatureC294shouldbeused,insofarastheyareappropriate,inreportspreparedinaccordancewiththisguide.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
