【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesguidelinesforthesurvey/sampling,identificationandbasicquantificationofphytobenthos(otherthanmacrophytes)inrunningwaters.Itisapplicabletoriverswherebenthicalgaeandbryophytesarethemainphototrophs.Thismethodencompassesallphytobenthicgrowthformsandenablesbiologicalresponsestoenvironmentaleventsoveroneormoreyearstobemonitored.Inthisrespectitprovidesanalternativetomethodsbasedonbenthicdiatoms(EN13946;EN14407)andmacrophytes(EN14184).Dataobtainedforthephytobenthosgrowthformsaresuitableforpilotsurveys,waterqualityassessmentandtrendmonitoring.ThisEuropeanStandardencompassesallaspectsfromthedesignofsurveyandsamplingprogrammestotheidentificationandbasicquantificationofthephytobenthos.
