【摘要】:Photoluminescentsafetymarkingsmaybeusedtoindicatethedirectionofthemeansofegress(escaperoute).Note18212;SpecificationE2072coversphotometricrequirementsforphotoluminescent(phosphorescent)safetymaterials.Photoluminescentsafetymarkingscanbedividedintothefollowingcategories:FloorMountedMarkings8212;Thesemarkingsincludefloortiles,stairtreads,stairnosings,floorinserts,tactilewarningstrips,coatings,epoxycastingresins,andothermarkingsattachedtothefloor.WallMountedMarkings8212;Thesemarkingsincludecoatings,wallbases,tapes,cornerguards,signage,evacuationroutediagrams,guidancestrips,andothermarkingsattachedtowalls,doors,handrails,columns,andotherobstructions.1.1Thisguidedescribesrecommendedusesandinformationoninstallationofphotoluminescentsafetymarkings.Thisguidedoesnotestablishastandardpracticetofollow.Requiredmarkingsshallbeinstalledinaccordancewithapplicablebuildingcodes.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
