【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansofestimatingthequalitativeperformanceofglassenameldecorationsthatareexposedtohighphosphatedetergentsduringuse.Thistestmethodalsoattemptstosimulateacceleratedexposuretohighphosphatedetergentspriortotestingforheavymetalrelease,suchasinTestMethodC927whenlongtermperformanceofenamelsmustbeevaluated.1.1Thisqualitativetestmethodisdesignedtoprovideaconvenientandreproduciblemethodofdeterminingthedetergentresistanceofdecorationsappliedtoglasstableware.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
